Like all good things, MyChamp began with a very simple idea. We wanted an online home for our student football team — a place to connect with each other, with fans, and with opponents. So we built a website with a forum. Gradually it grew into a website for our amateur football league, helping organisers automate many routine tasks. At some point it became obvious: what we had built could be useful to thousands of other clubs and leagues! After all, the needs of our team and the tournaments we play in are essentially the same as those of any other team or league. And so in 2010, MyChamp.ru was born.
We set ourselves three goals. First, what we build must work for all football tournaments and teams, regardless of size or format. Second, our site must be simple to set up and use. And third — most importantly — the platform must be genuinely useful and deliver real value to its users by saving time and money, attracting new participants, and providing a technological edge.
We are a small team of people who love playing football. We don't run our own competitions, we don't lobby for anyone's interests, and we give users their data freely and automatically at any time — so we have no hidden motives.
We genuinely believe we are making a real contribution to the development of football, and we hope to make this beautiful game even more accessible and exciting — inspiring as many players, fans, coaches and tournament organisers as possible.
